Step 1: Contact us.
Our phone number, fax, and e-mail are listed. Let us know your concept or bring us your plans. If you do not have plans, bring us your ideas and we can formulate plans with you.
Step 2: Meeting.
If you have property, we'll come to you. It is important to match what you are building, to the property it is built on. Not only does this give us a first hand experience of the lay of the land, but also we can more accurately evaluate the costs of excavation, underground work, and access to the project.
If you do not have property, we can meet in the office or your home to discuss the project. No matter where the location, there is never a cost for the meeting or bid process.
Step 3: The Bid.
There a couple of ways the we conduct business. Most of the time it is through a bid. This is a very detailed explanation of what we propose to do and for how much. Inclusions and exclusions and all questions should be answered by this process. On smaller jobs, it is fairly easy to pin point costs associated with the project. On larger projects, we may include an allowance for an item usually due to a selection not being known at the time of the bid being completed. Our goal is to make this as detailed as possible so all costs are accounted of before we begin construction.
Step 4: Contract.
All jobs are bound by a contract. No matter if the project is $1,000.00 of $500,000.00, we complete contracts to ensure there is no lack of communication. We work hard to eliminate misconceptions and miscommunications. Our obvious goal is a healthy working relationship and referrals for more work. We do very little advertising and rely heavily on word-of-mouth references.
Step 5: Construction.
No matter the size, we communicate. Our goal is to have our customers surprised at the level of service and communication. Our crews will be on time, professional, clean, and hard working. We commit to begin a job, and not leave until it is finished. We schedule very efficiently and make sure all subcontractors and crews are well aware of the need to complete their work and get out of the way for the next trade. A nice feature of our construction technique is our subs are well supported and informed. They know the other subs on the job and help to prepare for the next phase.
Weekly construction reports are filed with the President as well as with the customer. Detailed schedules are updated weekly as well as personal cell phone numbers are given out for emergencies. E-mail communication is heavy since everyone carries Blackberry's and is available by cell phone when not in the office.
Step 6: Completion.
As soon as the last inspection has been passed, the customer has performed the walk-thru with our staff, we then issue a final bill and survey. We want to know how we can improve and realize we learn on each project. We take challenging projects and appreciate constructive feedback.
Let us know how we can serve you!
